The truth is
the part of something that you don’t want to see. It is the
part that YOU THINK, (believe or FEAR) will cause you to have
discomfort or pain. It is the very part that may
bring YOU your
greatest breakthrough. The challenge is being able to look in
the face of the truth and learn to immediately surrender to
it.
What is the truth about The Truth?
The Truth is blameless and
it makes no evaluation or judgment. It is what it is. The
truth is not MY truth or YOUR truth. IT is THE Truth. Just
like gravity is not yours or mine. It just is.
The value that
you place on the truth is what gives it its true power. If you
allow the truth to make you judge yourself negatively, you will
be inclined to avoid the truth altogether by making excuses or
convenient reasons why the truth is negotiable.
Our goal is to embrace the
truth, learn from the truth and ultimately become rooted and
grounded in the truth. So that beyond a shadow of a doubt...we
know that we know what we know.
I know this is deep...but you can handle it, .
So,
What's THE TRUTH About
YOUR Love for YOU?
T
hink
of the following statements and notice whether you have a
positive or negative emotional response.
I am the only one
responsible for loving me (PAUSE and read it again)
I am the only one in
control of whether or not I feel love, receive love or
experience love.
My feeling, receiving
and/or experiencing love is a function of my relationship
with ME and no one else.
I love me and it shows.
I love me and it shows in
the ways I improve myself each day.
I love me and it shows in
the relationships I choose for my life today.
I love me and it shows in
the people that I allow into my intimate inner circle.
I love me and it shows in
the decisions that I make in my life today.
I love me and it shows in
the actions that I take IN SUPPORT OF MYSELF each day.
I love me and it shows in
the ways I protect myself each day.
I love
me and it shows in the food I eat each day.
I love
me and it shows in the ways that I care for my own spirit,
my own soul and my own body.
I love
me and it shows in the time I set aside to nurture myself
and ensure that I get what I need.
I love
me and I don’t feel guilty about it.
So, ,
aside from any feelings, negative or positive, that were invoked
by these questions...what is the truth about you loving you?
Get out your Journal and write about it.
NOTE:
‘I/ME’ always implies YOU and God within YOU.
